Creeper Plushie Giveaway!

Hi, everyone! I am participating in Giveaway Daythis week! After checking out my giveaways, go to Sew Mama Sew to see the many other giveaways.

This giveaway is for a Creeper Plushie! I made it entirely by hand and filled it with really soft pillow stuffing, so it is really wonderfully soft and squishy and I almost don’t want to give it away (I might make another for myself later). The middle is also perfect for a pillow! It is hand sewn, not machine sewn, so there is the occasional puckering of a seam, but it’s still pretty adorable. The face is black fabric that is sewn around the edges with green thread. On to the pictures!

Too close! It will explode! Ah!!! And yes, this is me, the maker.

Who can enter? Anyone in the United States or Canada. International shipping is too expensive for me right now – maybe another year!

How can I enter? Leave one comment before Friday, May 25th at 5 pm PST (8 pm EST)! If you are a Minecraft player, your comment should answer one of these questions: What is your favorite Minecraft build (feel free to link to pictures!), or What is your favorite thing to do in Minecraft? If you are not a Minecraft player, let me know why you’re interested in the plushie (your kid/partner/friend plays, etc).

I will pick a random comment to be a winner with a (mostly) random number generator. By “(mostly) random” I mean this: If I get a fair number of responses from people who either are Minecraft players themselves or want this to give to an avid Minecraft player they know, those people will have preference over those who have no idea what Minecraft is and just think the plushie is cute. I am choosing the winner this way because I think that there is extra joy in knowing the meaning behind something, and I believe a Minecraft player will be able to enjoy this plushie a lot more than a non-Minecraft player (omg! I’m hugging a creeper that won’t explode! Haha! – that kind of thing). Please do comment if you don’t know what Minecraft is, though, and would still like the plushie – you never know, you could still win.

  • Ah I love minecraft! I tend to play in creative mode, and not nearly often enough. Hmmm…I really like making buildings. I think it's fun to just build a house or a building for a purpose. My brother loves minecraft and he gets more into mods and things.

Happy giveaway day! Thanks for the giveaway!

  • I am not a minecraft fan but my 7 year old is. He turns 8 in a month and all he wants is the full version of minecraft. He spends hours and hours and hours watching video's would just love to get this and give to him. I think it would make his day.

Also think the pockets and such are cool I am building a quilt for my son if you look at my blog check out the Jean's For Jared posts he thinks I am making his quilt too slow.

  • My favorite part of Minecraft is the fact that your imagination guides you. You can build anything, while adventuring and fighting monsters at night. Also, the beauty that Minecraft can be. Whether a calm river, or a grassy mountain. Amazing Plushie btw! 😀

  • Wouldn't mind winning one of these for my girlfriend.

This was probably one of my most favorite builds,

Yes, I am in a plot. No, I did not have creative.(I harvested the materials in a Survival World before going into the plot world.) Yes, I did add more.

The server reset before I got pictures of the mushroom cave and the added ores to the ravine.

Generally I build eco-spheres in the sky and terraform the terrain to my liking.

  • I would have to say my favorite builds are ones created by new players, its always nice to see how they improve and choose there own type of building structures. I think my favorite thing to do in Minecraft would be sheep bredding. I love coloring them and then breeding them. It feels like an accomplishment to watch a baby sheep grow up.

  • Ooh, I have my 2 little girls here cheering about your creeper plushie! They are 7 and 11. Their favorite builds are mini RPG maps (I'm hoping you know what that means, because I don't, lol). Grace who is 7 likes building houses and Caelin likes CTF maps and the better-than-wolves mod. They even made their aunt paper-craft minecraft pieces for Christmas!
