Commission: Patchwork Belt Pouch of Holding

Each piece of leatherwork I make is one-of-a-kind.  Entirely hand-sewn with strong saddle stitch to last a long time, this pouch is big enough to hold a regular paperback novel, wallet, keys, and cell phone.

To ensure that it would hold everything an introverted SCAdian would want at an event, I formed it around the biggest paperback novel I own.  🙂

A long belt loop distributes the weight more evenly, so it doesn’t tug heavily at one narrow point.

The belt loop, which carries the most strain, is also reinforced so that the pouch will last.

The front half of the belt loop is sewn again to the pouch higher up.  This ensures that the pouch does not tip forward when full and rests comfortably.

Two inner contrasting pockets make it easy to hold and find small items: keys, earrings, coins, rings, tokens.

I love how there will never be a pouch exactly like this anywhere in the world.  The pieces of leather inform my one-of-a-kind designs as I make them.  ~Kell
